I'm Sorry

I am sorry poem image. A blog picture of JPK. Poetry. Poems.

Saying I'm sorry is a sign of strength. A token of love. A vital ingredient in any relationship. In today's world where narcissism is the order of the day; only a few can meaningfully say this great words--I'm Sorry. It is my hope that this poem open your eyes to see the world from the "I'm sorry" point of view. Enjoy.

I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not looking into

your eyes and tell you things will be all right.

I'm sorry. I'm sorry for taking the easy way out,

for not bracing the storm with you. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry for the little things I could give but didn't:

shoulder to cry on, ears to talk to, chest to rest on...

I'm sorry. I'm sorry for the wrongs I've done, for the

words I shouldn't have said, for the actions I shouldn't have taken. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry. I'm sorry for days I wasn't there, for hours I wasn't in. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry for the day I left, for the moment I walked out of that door. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry for not being matured, for not being discerning to know you were

hurt when you said those words. I'm sorry for not walking in love.

I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything.

But I'm not sorry, and never will,

that I want you back in my miserable life.
